Senz° Umbrellas were created in 2004 by a design engineering student, who was looking to improve on the design of traditional umbrellas. What started as a prototype made on Gerwin Hoogendoorn's grandmother's sewing machine is now a design sensation. Senz° have been tested to stand up to 70 mph of wind without inverting or breaking, and have UV protection of 50+. Winner of the Red Dot Design award, iF Design award (Gold), IDEA award (Gold), Good Design Award, Observeur Design Award (Star), Dutch Design Award, etc… these umbrellas are built to protect and made to last.
